See THE WITCH And THE LIGHTHOUSE In IMAX This Fall

Ahead of the release of his long-waited Nosferatu this Christmas Day, A24 are bringing two Robert Eggers classics to the big screen this fall, with The Witch and The Lighthouse screening for the first time ever in IMAX.

2015's creeping folk horror The Witch, which starred Anya Taylor-Joy in her breakout and feature film debut, will play across the nation on October 23, with 2019's nineteenth-century nightmare The Lighthouse, with Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, plays on November 13.

Credited as one of the movies that ushered in the ‘folk horror renaissance' and established A24 as powerhouses in horror distribution, Egger's feature debut The Witch marked him as one to watch. His critically-acclaimed follow up, The Lighthouse, quickly became a horror fan favorite for its historical accuracy, twisted sexuality and its two maniacal central performances from Dafoe and Pattinson.

Nosferatu, which stars Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and, of course, Mr Dafoe, looks set to be another Eggers horror hit, with all the attention to detail of a period piece we've come to know and love from his as a director.
